Content format versions are 1.0.0 and 1.1.0. Not 2.0. whassat all about?

How many versions are involved? Protocol, content format, data model, ...

Mark Trayer

Greetings,

There is actually only one content format version, 1.0.0 … the 1.1.0 is an example of possible use (I get that the table may imply otherwise).  This is because there is only one version of the content format application/vnd.ocf+cbor, it hasn’t been changed --- it reflects the versioning of the content format used not the spec.

Other ‘version’ indicators are icv (protocol) and dmv (data model).  Note that the latter is effectively deprecated (i.e. there aren’t plans to keep revising it as it seemed to provide no value).

Best,

Mark.
